About Me

Yello! My name is Ivan Augusto Montero (my middle name is pronounced “ow-goose-toe”… “ow, goose toe!”) and I am a Southwest Florida creator: photographer, filmmaker/YouTuber, graphic designer, and writer. I am 27 years old and I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Advertising & Public Relations with a minor in Graphic Design. 

Even as a tinier human, I’ve always had an affinity for the arts, especially in the realm of storytelling. Once, my mother told me that toddler Ivan would rush into her room most mornings, a colorfully scribbled piece of paper in hand, and demand that she read me my story. She knew way back then that I would become an artist, a storyteller.

I picked up photography and film when I was around 12 years old and never looked back. In fact, I began writing my own scripts right around that age, as well. I hadn’t gotten into design until my Junior year in college where I added a Graphic Design minor. Now, I absolutely LOVE designing and creating my own posters, stickers, etc. 

My dream is to have my own creative media platform on which I can produce my own films, web shows, and comics. I want to be able to provide a safe place for young artists who want to showcase their work, but are unable. My dream is to get this world to a place where storytelling effectively is not forgotten and done well. 

So, what am I? I am a Naples Photographer, a Naples Graphic Designer, an independent filmmaker, and a scriptwriter for movies, shows, and comics. 

Honestly, I hope to work with you as you also have a story to tell and I want to help tell it. Whether it is in photography, film, design, or writing, I want to help you be unique in this often mundane world. So, how about it?

• My favorite color is Grey (and green)
• Spider-Man is the best superhero ever and it’s okay if you’re wrong & don’t agree *wink*
• I can say the alphabet backward in under 5 seconds (working on 4)
• I REALLY CAN whistle underwater
• I’m a HUGE (lies, I’m only 5’5 1/2″) dog lover!
• I got stung by a stingray when I was 12 and SURVIVED
